The Internal Audit Department in Latvia is an integral part of SEB Group Internal Audit. Group Internal Audit is an independent group-wide activity comprising of about 80 auditors with global presence within the SEB network. The main purpose of Internal Audit is to provide reliable and objective assurance to the Supervisory Council and the Audit and Compliance Committee that governance, risk management and control processes as designed and represented by management are adequate and effective and support the business objective and in so doing promoting a sound control culture within SEB.

What you can expect

You will work in a wide area that covers the entire scope of SEB IT-organization in the Baltics and occasionally in other locations within SEB Group. You will be part of the group IT-audit that consists of ten people, five in Sweden and the other in Baltics and Germany. The team performs audits of IT-functions, and sometimes joint audits with other Internal Audit functions. As an auditor you will be introduced to and continuously trained in audit techniques. We work mostly in teams were you sometimes are an auditor delivering your part, while in other assignments you are Team Leader.

Main responsibilities:
•prepare risk based audit programs and conduct audits on IT governance, control infrastructure, risk management processes, operational excellence as well as IT security in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia;
•analyze audit results and prepare recommendations on areas of risk or weaknesses;
•follow-up issue resolution process;
•maintain strong relationships with SEB Group Internal Audit team across whole world;
•actively participate in risk assessment process and preparation of annual audit plan.

What we expect:
•higher education in IT;
•at least 3 years working experience in IT audit, IT security or similar position;
•excellent Latvian, English (spoken, written);
•good knowledge of banking laws and regulations, work experience in banking or insurance area will be preferred;
•CISA, CISM, CRISC or CIA qualification will be preferred;
•ability and willingness to travel.
